Galaxy Entertainment Group held the 2007 Media Dinner at StarWorld Hotel to express their gratitude to the media for their continuous support. The dinner was attended by Vice-Chairman of Galaxy, Francis Lui, and part of the management team.

Sincere gratitude to the media, Galaxy achieved rapid development and excellent results
Galaxy arranged 10 tables for its guests drawn from all branches of the Macau media. To commence the proceedings in the convivial atmosphere, the master of ceremonies introduced the management team members to the media. The officiating Group Vice Chairman, Francis Lui, then proposed a vote of thanks. Expressing his best wishes to all guests in attendance, Mr Lui said, “Galaxy has developed in a very satisfactory pace last year and over recent months has launched a succession of world-class operations, including the five-star StarWorld Hotel as well as another three casinos. All of us are extremely encouraged by these excellent accomplishments.”
StarWorld’s new look, new services Coming soon
Since its opening, Star World has been well received by tourists from all over the world, and to ensure that StarWorld continues to provide top service as the best hotel of its kind in Macau and in Asia, several new facilities and services will be available soon. These include the Le Grande Club, which will open in May, and Inagiku, the famous Japanese restaurant will open in June. In August, one of the world’s top Western restaurants and a large-scale deluxe ballroom will also be opened to the public. Not content with this, StarWorld will continue to provide extra surprises and premium enjoyment to the guests in the future.
Brand new promotion $6 million cash prize
StarWorld has already surprised both guests and media with a range of exciting promotion ideas. Mr. Lui said, “StarWorld has recently introduced a whole new range of facilities and creative promotion activities. These include Jinmen (Premium Club), launched in March, and the “StarWorld Space Adventure” lucky draw. The lucky winner will get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to visit the Russian Space Agency to experience the spaceflight as an astronaut, as well as winning a $6 million cash prize. We pledge to always offer only the very best and most creative services and facilities to our guests.”
Regarding to Galaxy’s future development, Mr. Lui said, “We are now going all-out to complete the Galaxy Mega Resort located on the Cotai Strip. This is scheduled to open in early 2008 and will provide one-stop gaming, entertainment, shopping, exhibition, and other high-end leisure facilities, strongly contributing to the diverse and sophisticated development of Macau.
